53RD SCGA PUBLIC LINKS NET CHAMPIONSHIP:
Los Serranos G & CC (North), Chino Hills
36 holes, stroke play.
Friday and Saturday, August 21 – 22, 2020
FORMAT:
104 players will play two rounds
Friday, August 21st: Round 1 (18 holes, net stroke play).
Saturday, August 22nd: Round 2 (18 holes, net stroke play).
The championship field will be divided into flights based on handicap index. Contestants in all flights during the championship will use their playing handicap; 95% of their course handicap (new in 2020).
Flight handicap dispersal for the championship will be determined after the entry closing date. The SCGA Championship & Golf Operations Committee reserves the right to adjust a player’s course handicap at any time prior to or during the competition.
ELIGIBILITY: This Championship is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA public or affiliate golf club with a current Handicap Index at the time of registration. Players who are listed on a private or semi-private club’s roster must also be listed on a public or affiliate roster to be eligible. All entrants must be a member of a club that has a handicap chairperson who has successfully completed the SCGA’s certified Handicap Chair program within the last four years.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, August 9, 2020
PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org/netpublinks after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $180
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and will only be accepted over the phone.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
